Tracy Carr is a researcher, editor, and writer in Jackson, Mississippi. A former English instructor and librarian, she has a BA in English from the University of North Texas, an MA in English from Mississippi State University, and an MLIS from the University of Alabama. In her career as a librarian, she was responsible for several statewide literary programs, including the 2017 update of the Mississippi Literary Map. She serves on the board of the Mississippi Book Festival.
