Loren Saxton Coleman is assistant professor and director of graduate studies in the Communication, Culture and Media Studies Department in the Cathy Hughes School of Communications at Howard University. She is coeditor of Media, Myth, and Millennials: Critical Perspectives on Race and Culture.
